About The CELES Awards

The CELES Awards are given each year for the best work in online learning, in two divisions: Academic and Business/Industry. All submissions are evaluated by the CELES Awards Committee, which looks for a variety of attributes. These include, among others, educational soundness and effectiveness, user experience, and overall significance.

The Business Division is intended for courses and products created for organizational learning, professional development, and related purposes, and for software tools used to create products for those audiences. The Academic Division is intended for Institute/school and university courses and software used in the creation of academic courses.

Winners were announced every year in December month, Winners of the 2023 Academic Division awards were announced at the Langley Event Centre in Canada.
